Function and goals

The International Relations Office (IRO) is a service that depends on the Vice-Chancellor of Research and Internationalisation. The IRO promotes and manages the mobility of the university community to other higher education institutions through accords and collaboration agreements. In addition, it promotes the UIB international relations, by the management and monitoring of specific projects and agreements.

From the International Relations Office, we want to promote the UIB internationalisation fostering programmes and specific activities in order to improve its repercussion and the international presence. This internationalisation needs to be understood as a transversal element in the UIB's own activities that affect to all the groups and collectives that form the university community.
